Legacy and Planned Giving
Your generosity to CSCET can do so much.
Leave a lasting impact on the world and truly help East Tennesseans with cancer for generations to come. Often called “planned gifts,” these gifts allow you to provide hope and healing while also planning for your family’s future.

How will you leave your legacy?
There are numerous benefits to you and your loved ones when you donate to CSCET through a planned gift. These may include an immediate income tax deduction, lifetime income, a reduction in your adjusted gross income on your taxes and other benefits.
Fulfilling the minimum distribution requirements of your IRA by making a qualified charitable distribution reduces your taxable income and transfers the funds to CSCET tax-free. You can also minimize estate tax liability by leaving the remainder of your IRA to CSCET by naming us as the beneficiary.
One of the simplest planned gifts to establish, a bequest through your will or living trust results in a meaningful donation to CSCET while ensuring that you have adequate funds throughout your lifetime.
Naming CSCET as a beneficiary of your policy or making an outright gift of an existing/new policy is a great way to leverage your impact at CSCET and make a sizeable gift for pennies on the dollar.
There are many possible estate planning opportunities for you to consider, in conjunction with guidance from your financial adviser.
